VOLUNTEER WITH US
Oban Pride is completely run and led by volunteers, who we deeply depend on.
There are many different aspects that going into running Oban Pride and they all depend on volunteers.
You could volunteer to be a member of our Committee.
Being a Committee member includes attending a minimum of 6 meetings per year where we discuss not only the up and coming Oban Pride but we discuss fundraising, events, marketing and much more. You may have skills that will help our committee deliver a bigger Pride.
Not everyone wants to sit in meetings, some people want to be more hands on, interacting with the crowd at fundraising events, as well as Pride Events.
We are always looking for stewards for our events. Our Pride March depends on Stewards. We are required to have at least 1 steward per 10 planned attendees on our march. Without help from our Stewards we would not be able to it.
Some people would prefer to work behind the scenes, which is also needed.
Preparing for our events by making things, setting up and decorating venues, or even just helping with funding applications, this all takes a lot of time and again depends on volunteers.

YOUR BUSINESS WORKING WITH US
If you are a business owner or involved in a business, who would like be involved with Oban Pride there are different ways to do this.
You can follow us on our social media pages which you can find at the bottom of this page and share our posts and events. You can also contact us for posters about our events if you have somewhere to display them.
Another way for your business to support us is to take out a sponsorship package with us.Sponsorship packages range from as little as £50. Each of our packages includes different perks for you as a sponsor.

COMMUNITY GROUPS WORKING WITH US
If you are run or are involved in a with community group, who would like be involved with Oban Pride, You can do this by following us on our social media pages which you can find at the bottom of this page and share our posts and events. You can also contact us for posters about our events if you have somewhere to display them.
Why not arrange for members of your group to attend our events together, we love to see groups of friends getting together and supporting each other.
